Quite a bit of Police Dept. activity near West 2nd St. and New St., middle of the block between the Bodega and the Hannah House. This was around 7:20am that I saw this.

Was doing some reading on Sodom and Gomorrah , and realized that Plainfield, NJ, has quite a bit in common with them!
And no, I am not talking Homophobic rhetoric . . . I am referring to the way in which People treat other People around here . . . it's a sin and a shame!
It seems as though in Plainfield it is, "Do Unto Others the Opposite of How You Want Them To Do Unto You!"

R.I.P. Almost Cousin George . . . You Will Be Missed!
George Romond
Visitation: Friday, June 10, 2011 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung, NJ
Interment: Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ
Mr. George Romond, 51, son of the late Robert and Isabella Walker Romond, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Born in Plainfield, he resided in North Plainfield his entire life.
A talented mechanic who had the ability to diagnose automobile problems over the phone, George began his career after college at Romond's Garage, Inc. in Plainfield, later becoming co-owner in 1986 until closing the dealership in 2008. He enjoyed driving and restoring antique Jeeps, off-roading, hiking and riding his motorcycle.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Patricia Wares Romond; a son Andrew, and a daughter Carolyn of North Plainfield, and a sister, Isabella Wiggins of Jackson, NJ.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by Cremation at Somerset Hills Memorial Park.

He is a great friend to at least one local idiot, Jeff Yingling, who put two of our children's lives in danger because a rock hit the rocker panel of his 1988 Toyota work truck!
